S H A R P by ANDREA MAACK .

Andrea continues playing with the preset rules of the fashion industry (seasons, branding, collections, consumerism) to create a point of connection with the conservative contemporary art world. She introduces her third perfume SHARP which was premiered recently at the Arnhem Mode Biënnale in The Netherlands, recieving much rave. At the exhibition in Gallery Agust, Maack pushes further the elements of her work with collaboration perfumery Apf arômes & parfums, giving them an original drawing to translate into a scent. She elaborates on the branding element of her art work, putting her name in the spotlight for others to consume.SHARP by ANDREA MAACK is an exhibition that leads the mind to the self-image of the individual and society, beauty, happiness, vanity, and the exaltation of pleasure, or desire and lust, however you choose to look at it.Maack collaborated with interior/spatial designer Ingibjorg Agnes Jonsdottir and graphic designer Ármann Agnarsson in this project.
